Treads CC Breeze Ride Representative
Sarah Beeby, our British Cycling Breeze ride leader is keen to get as many ladies as possible out on their bikes in Northamptonshire. If you would like to join one of our regular club rides, please do contact Sarah, who can give you more information about what to expect.
We also hold regular Wednesday evening rides, starting at 7pm, which are especially for those that are newer to cycling or are thinking about joining a cycling club for the first time. During the Summer, these take place out on the village roads, normally starting from Weedon or Welton, both near Daventry. In the Winter, we hold weekly turbo training sessions in Welton, which are a bit like a spinning class and are great fun. Both sessions are an excellent way to meet like minded people and to improve your fitness. There is normally an opportunity for coffee and cake afterwards to replenish the calories!
Sarah is happy to answer any questions that you might have, and is also a friendly face to look out for when you arrive at the start of a ride for the first time, which we know can be daunting.

Treads Cycle Club
For local road rides Treads Cycle Club meet every Saturday at Nuffield Health Club (formally Canons) car park from 9.30 am, arriving back at approximately 1.30 pm.
For local off road road rides Treads Cycle Club meet every Sunday at Delapre Golf Club car park from 9.00 am, arriving back at at approximately 1.00 pm.
Our weekend rides normally involve a stop off for coffee and cake, which provides an opportunity to refuel and to get to know other club members better.
Feel free to join the Forum and check out the photos of our members. Treads Cycle Club members were all new to riding once, and Treads CC hope it will encourage you to come out and ride with us.
