Over the years we have gathered a vast knowledge of exciting, fun and challenging cycle rides throughout Northamptonshire, with many of the routes hidden away and unknown to most. Our aim is to offer any new member a warm and friendly atmosphere and a fun ride whilst increasing your enjoyment of the sport that we all enjoy.
Treads Cycle Club runs two off road (Mountain Bike) ride per week.
The Sunday ride starts from Delapre Golf Club, Northampton at 8:30am the ride finishes at about 12:30pm. Please bring some money for a refreshment stop.
The Wednesday ride starts from Delapre Golf Club, Northampton at 6:30pm and finishes about 8:30pm. During the winter months you will need lights as it is dark off road.
Treads Cycle Club runs a road ride every Saturday. The ride starts and finishes from Harlstone Heath Wyevale garden Centre Northampton. The ride starts at 9:30am and finishes at about 1pm. Bring some money as there is a tea stop to get some refreshments.
We offer regular local mountain and road bike rides to suit all, including local night mountain bike rides. For those that want to, we also have regular adventures to Wales and the Alps, but we will always tailor each ride depending upon the ability of the turnout.
So, whether you are looking to discover new cycling routes, make new riding buddies, get started on the road to racing, or simply increase your fitness levels and have fun, we want to support you and encourage you to join the club.

Treads Cycle Club have introduced a membership tag system.
This tag serves two perposes;
1. As your membership card you will get Discount from selected local bike shops.
2. While out on the bike should you be injured there is a web link on the back of the tag directing the emergency services to emergency contact informaion for you the club member.
